ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Our Web Accessibility Statement & Commitment to Inclusive Design

Digital inclusivity is a core pillar of the design philosophy at Classicblocks. This web accessibility statement reflects a commitment to creating web experiences that are functional, intuitive, and accessible to all visitors — including those with disabilities. By prioritising structural logic and clarity, the goal is to provide an environment where every user can navigate and interact with ease, regardless of ability or assistive technology. Accessibility is not treated as a checkbox here. It is embedded into the design and development process from day one.

Conformance Status

Classicblocks strives to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards. These guidelines, established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), serve as the global benchmark for making web content more accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities.

Where full conformance has not yet been achieved, specific areas are actively being addressed. This page is updated as improvements are made.

Technical Implementation & Testing

To maintain these standards, the following methods are integrated into the development and quality assurance process:

  • Structural Integrity: ensuring correct heading hierarchies and semantic HTML to support screen reader navigation. Properly structured markup benefits both accessibility and SEO — two disciplines that reinforce each other when done correctly.
  • Keyboard Operability: Optimising site architecture so all interactive elements are reachable and functional via keyboard alone, without reliance on a mouse or touch input.
  • Visual Clarity: Maintaining sufficient colour contrast ratios and clear typography for readability across all users, including those with low vision or colour blindness.
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Periodic testing using tools such as NVDA for Windows and VoiceOver for iOS to verify a seamless experience for visually impaired users.

Ongoing Improvements

While the objective is full conformance, some areas of the platform may currently be classified as partially conformant as technology and guidelines continue to evolve. Specific focus is being directed toward:

  • Text Alternatives — Ensuring all meaningful images include descriptive alt text that conveys context to screen reader users.
  • Multimedia — Improving captioning for video content where applicable, ensuring audio information is available in text form.
  • Motion & Interactions — Refining high-end animations to ensure they remain accessible without causing distraction or usability barriers, including support for users who have enabled reduced-motion preferences in their operating system.

How This Reflects Our Work for Clients

This web accessibility statement doesn’t just describe our own platform — it reflects the standard we apply to every client project. When ClassicBlocks builds or redesigns a website, accessibility best practices are embedded from the first wireframe to the final deployment.
Clients who care about reaching the widest possible audience — and avoiding legal exposure — can read more about how this thinking informs our web design services.

Feedback & Contact

Accessibility is viewed as a continuous journey of refinement rather than a static goal. If any barriers are encountered or if there are suggestions on how the digital experience can be improved, please reach out directly. All feedback is reviewed with precision and intent — to ensure the web remains an open space for everyone.
